Tip of the Day: Make Nutritional Progress

05-04-2012
CORE POWER TIP OF THE DAY
Health & Nutrition

Lindsay Cotter reminds us today not to be so hard on ourselves. PROGRESS is what it’s all about when it come to nutrition…

Combine Core Power Vanilla with fruits and veggies to get some great nutrition!

We all know that not every training session is going to be perfect. Some days we are tired and we just barely get through it… or get through most of it… while other days seem so easy. But we make progress no matter what, whether it’s mental or physical.

Same goes with our nutrition. I will be the first to admit, my diet is not 100% perfect, and I am a nutrition manager! There are days where I master the 5 servings of fruits and veggies and there are other days where I struggle to get in one! What’s my point here? Strive to make progress nutritionally.

Haven’t had any fruits or vegetables yet today? That’s fine. Load up later. Blend together Vanilla Core Power, Banana, Spinach, and berries. That’s 3 servings of fruits/vegetables right there. It’s not a perfect salad, but its progress towards perfect nutrition…  and that’s what counts!

Lindsay is a pro triathlete’s wife, nutrition/fitness consultant, and shares a passion for GLUTEN FREE cooking! #FitFluential Ambassador – Meet Lindsay at CotterCrunch.com.
