With an impressive 3rd place finish at ITU World Triathlon San Diego yesterday, Core Powered triathlete Laura Bennett is on her way back to the Olympics!

Her awesome finish time of 2:00:11 in the 1500-meter swim, 40-kilometer bike and 10-kilometer run means that she claimed the final olympic spot on the US Womens Triathlon team and will join Sarah Groff and Gwen Jorgenson in London. This will be her second trip to the Olympic games – Laura placed 4th at the Beijing Olympics. Watch the USA Triathlon YouTube interview to hear more about the race:
From sandiego.tritahlon.org: “Sarah [Haskins] and I had to be in the top nine, so it was kind of important that we all worked together on the bike and then we could fight it out at the end, and we did so,” Bennett said.
