Triathlons have 3 sports: swim, bike, run. But truly it is 3 similar sports: swim, bike, and “run off the bike”.
Running off the bike is a completely different experience than just going out for a run, and you’ve got to train your body to adapt to that. Therefore, not every time, but very frequently, practice running off the bike. Whether its a 200 meter jog, a 10-mile tempo run or 400m and 100m sprints on a track, they will all work your neuromuscular systems in different ways to help your body become used to this feeling. So give it a try after you next bike! And then refuel with some Core Power!
