Our manufacturing facility located in Coopersville, Michigan, will produce health and wellness beverages such as Core Power®, a high protein milk shake for active lifestyles. The following position is immediately available:



The Maintenance Manager will be part of the management team within Fair Oaks Farms Brands, LLC reporting to the Technical Operations Manager. The Maintenance Manager shall have charge of the operation, care and maintenance of all steam, electrical, PLC programming, refrigeration and mechanical equipment, including the use of welding, gas, electrical and HVAC equipment in the plant.

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the  maintenance and repair of all processing and packaging equipment: pumps, HTST, VTIS, membranes, process equipment, separators, batching, RO, fillers, packers, labelers, bundling, palletizing, CIP systems, valves, controls, sanitary piping, etc.; as well as all support equipment: boiler, air-compressors, refrigeration equipment, compressors, condensers, vacuum pumps, air conditioning units, sewer meters, waste water systems, conductivity meters, water meters, etc.  He will play an active role as a member of the emergency response team; he will oversee the fabrication and manufacturing of equipment for production needs, product and process piping, sanitary equipment, steam lines, chemical lines, pneumatic lines, etc.; and will be responsible for the documentation of all schematic, diagram changes, and PLC programming Documentation changes that keep plant records current.  The Maintenance Manager will also be responsible for supervision of all Stationary, and Apprentice Engineers; will review on a daily basis, work orders and activity reports; assist in capital projects and bids; and be responsible for the administration and execution of the facility preventative maintenance program.



Must have a working knowledge of all steam, electrical, refrigeration and mechanical equipment, including the use of welding, gas, electrical and heliarc equipment in the plant and have the ability to troubleshoot problems and be persistent until a solution is found. Must possess or be able to acquire a forklift operator license and have the ability to work all shifts, including off shifts. Must be PLC and AutoCAD capable.

Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline preferred – may substitute 10 years of experience in a production setting involving consumer packaging goods, electronics, instrumentation, refrigeration, electrical, and general mechanical with at least five years of supervisory experience.
